Had a couple chicken occasions Winner, winner, chicken dinner! First, we spied some fried chicken earlier this summer and decided to source some for ourselves at Golden Chicken. Then, later in the week, we created gourmet chicken and potatoes.
Caught up with friends
Chad drove to Madison to catch up with his friend Roger while Ruth had wine with her friend Amy.
Took a bike maintenance class
We signed up for a class at Brinn Labs to find out how to care for our bicycles. Our teacher, Chris from Dream Bikes, was super friendly and helpful.

We returned to Pizza Man for Cubano Part 2 Our server Lindsey encouraged us to come back to customize our Cubano Pizza, so we did! And, luckily, it was half price wine night!
Ruth hung out with friends
In trying to dig out of depression, Ruth’s trying to connect more with friends. She went out to dinner with two different friends this week and really enjoyed the French Onion Soup at new French restaurant, Fauntleroy.
We created our own Sunrise Burger
Inspired by Chad’s favorite burger at The Hale House, we decided to try to make our own at home! We also had zoodles – zucchini noodles – with the burger.
Got some info about Frank
Turns out Frank is a focal fat deposit. It’s basically some fat that didn’t know where else to go. It’s mostly from leading a sedentary lifestyle and being overweight. The advice was to lose weight and exercise more.
